Adjacent cell shown in detected set (NSN vendor)

Hi engineers,

I have a small problem with NSN vendor. we had the detected set features (RU30) and during drive test we saw that the UE reports a strong cell as detected cell (not monitored) but after check with NetAct we found it configured as adjacent cell !!!

can anyone give me an explanation please.

perhaps you should check if the adjacent created correctly (lac, sac, cellid, uarfcn, scrambling code)

Hi!

If all OK: check if measurement report was done during soft handover.
Monitored set is composed from list of all the cells in the active set,
there are rules for priorities, and it happens for good defined cell to slip out of the set,
thus it is reported as "detected".
