Dear Expert,

i have one Question which can be Interested to others in this forum also. hope that it is applicable for them also.

i notice that Most of the network the Experiencing PS UL data volume is greater that PS DL DATA VOLUME.
Considering the more user are doing downloading activities than uploading. we should expect the DL DATA should be more Higher.

For HSDPA DL AND UL DATA VOLUME comparizon. DL is more Higher than UL DATA VOLUME.

do You have any IDEA on the principle of 3G behind this." WHY PS UL DATA VOLUME VS IS GREATER THAN PS DL DATA VOLUME "

please comment if you have great idea. will be realy apreciate it and sure that reputation will be granted to every one.

have a nice day and Enjoy learning on this forum

Hi Itecity

This is for 3G, If you will compare the traffic for UL and DL in PS Service. its giving you the information that UL traffic is Higher than DL traffic.31337

Thanks

Yes Of course, do you mean if PS Data volume is PS R99 ?
If you disable HSDPA so PS R99 must be higher than PS R99 UL.
You already enabled HSDPA, and majority of subscriber is HSDPA, not R99, and this should be good indicator that HSDPA is taking R99 DL traffic. And the best strategy is to take DL PS r99 traffic to HSDPA to have good perception and good capacity sharing between user, R99 consume more resource...
In the presence of HSDPA, the PS R99 DL shhould be kept as minimum. But for HSUPA some time the threshold are little bit higher, eg the switch to HSUPA is 678 kbps, while for HSDPA is 64 kbps
