A Hop fault

Please, anyone can help me to know why we have this alarm on E/// network on a lot of cells recently, what could be the reason mainly please?


Fault code: 2A47 Antenna Hopping Failure

From my experience this alarm appears when 2 TRXs enabled for cell which AHOP already activated and traffic load is continuously low on related cell, usually it takes 1 week to be appeared due to either:

Configuration from BSC side
Or
Configuration from RBS side

Below recommendations are to solve this alarm.

1. Check configuration from BSC side which is need at least 2 enabled TRXs/Cell.
2. Read the IDB and using OMT to check how the IDB is defined regarding connections from RBS side.
3. Check Radio (DRU or RUG) is connected to the correct RI port on the DUG.
4. Create new IDB that applies to the RBS hardware and re-install it.

IF not solved follow below which is the last recommendations:

1. Reset the Radio (DRU/RUG) that has the TRX which raised the fault.
2. Reset the DUG.
