Hi,
Do you experience a handover failure with N200 timeout reason. I checked in the logs that before the handover failure event, there is a
DL Event report: Datalink Failure: DL Event: N200_Timeout.
Handover failure: Layer 2 Failure
Anyone knows what cause this and how to check.
Thanks.

check your transmission of the site if you see a lot of this reason (T200 expired) in your drive test

1. check same BSIC+BCCH
2. Check interference
3. check HW fail
4. if error occur in wide area. and Drop call high. check BSC synchronization

If handover is not occur n200 time, fails and come back to cell.
bcch and tch interferance check.

I am not so sure about this N200 HO failure thing but I remember an E******* site that had frequent T200 failures & call drops.
1. The cell was showing excessive 'suddenly lost connection' drops.
2. The site was VSAT, all VSAT were showing a lot of T200 expiry.

this can also be due to poor C/I at radio end... MS unable to access the channel
