activate Antenna Hopping in NSN

Hi all.

can anybody guide me about any requirement in BTS level after activation of AHOP in NSN S14 BSCs?
should i change configuration(antenna cabling or DVGA cabling) in UltraSite or Flexi Sites or MultiRadio sites?

we activate this amazing feauture in NSN S14 BSC but we encounter degradation in term of DL Quality.

please guide me.

Antenna hopping will increase ur SD completion but will degrade RXQ...so apply judiciously :)....never implement in config <=2trx

but implementation of this feature in Gemini Cells(Ex-Siemens Sites uner NSN S14 BSCs) had good improvement in term of quality.
why we dont have such improvement in term of quality in NSN(NSN Sites under S14 NSN BSCs).i need improvement in term of quality.

can u guide ma about improvement in term of quality except AFP and tilt??

Try shifting of FR/HR calls to higher AMR codecs by altering codec mode switch thresholds...will improve ur RXQ...

i have another issue about quality.
when we activate BB hopping mode in NSN sites we encounter huge degradation in term of quality while other KPIs(TCH Ass fail,SDCCH Drop,HSR) have good improvement.

if we could eliminate bad quality,we will give good improvement.

please guide me.

What do you consider as quality?

quality is BER.i consider quality of 0-4 to be 98% or more.

when i activate BB hopping,quality of 0-4 became worst(85%).

additionally as i checked,quality on BCCH TRX became worst,while TCH TRXs remain unchanged in term of quality.
we used Ad-Hoc in NSN BSCs(planned by Optimizer) and in order to activate BB in all cells,we use same Freqs in BB Hopping mode as Ad-Hoc mode.

please guide me.it is very important for me.
