Dears Expert,
we noticed some cells degraded just after removing TRXs from Base Band Hopping sites as we checked the SFH sites and found them OK. which need more investigation on why this happened...
Because from capacity point of view, the removal action from RF side for TRX is OK and we are thinking about software in NSN BTS...
did you face like this issue before?

hi,
you say "degraded"... degraded how?
in a network it should be applied one type of hoping... mixed types is really not recommended.
it is not a BTS issue for sure.

don't forget the SFH and BBH are operating differently.
do you use 1x1 or 1x3 MAL lists? you should pay attention to MAIO planning, correct MAIO Offset apply.
i recommend you test SFH on a whole BSC, a remote one where you can find a lot of interference.

cheers,
david

Hi David,
we are using BBH in one big cluster outside city, and should be there is no effecting, also we are facing several issue, as example if we upgrade the BSCs with new patch, all the cells in that BSC affected and degrade and need to reset BCF one by one... :(
So its really sucks and we already have many open tickit with NSN PL to solve these issus
