Dear Expert,

May you please help me to share your experience about this scenario
im doing analysis for some cell which having low throughput.
all parameters are ok, CQI value send by all UE to node B are all gooD Range, can meet the higher modulation technique

HSPDSCHMAXCODENUM:15
HSPDSCHMINCODENUM; 5
ALOCATION CODE MODE : AUTOMATIC
HSSCCHCODENUM:4

on the above setting We are experiencing the Scenario below

-some cell which is having more HSDPA user are experiencing low throughput compare to the cell which is having less user.

example: Cell A have 5 hsdpa user, while Cell B Have 2 hsdpa user only. but base from cell throughput monitoring, cell B is having more throughput delivered compare to Cell A.

please if there is any body have an idea on this. please help me.

Kindly see the attached picture for the actual Kpi that im analyzing at the moment.

John but this is normal :L...less users -> Higher throughput and viceversa

some cell which is having more HSDPA user are experiencing low throughput compare to the cell which is having less user.
this is what happen using theory... What about other KPI...are you having RRC reject / congestion or RAB or different RTWP ( hardware alarms or problem )...and so on ?

Dear Handover24

thank you for your reply.
actualy we are clear on the hardware problem and transmision problem, no congestion and RTWP are normal.
please share more other thing that we need to consider

Is it because even we have lot of of HSDPA User but not doing downloading activity?

Thanks
John

You could also look up for formulae calculation of throughput. Sometimes there is a clue.

John what's the vendor ? ( Huawei, NSN .. ) ?

Hi!
Basic actions can improve throughput :
1. Coverage ( area which <2 cell or >4 cell) to improve CQI very strengh.
2. Frequency strategy which can control HSPA on each frequency can saperate with R99.

Hi John

What algorithm of planning Mac-hs are you using ?? EPF, RR,PF, MAX C/I.

u must examine the Cell throught & User throughput stats both. i found this normal.

and check the scheduling algo.

–Round Robin (RR)
1.Cyclically assign the channel to users without taking channel conditions into account
2.Simple but poor performance(low user thr.)

–Proportional Fair (PF)
1Assign the channel to the user with the best relative channel quality
2High throughput, fair

–Max C/I Ratio
1Assign the channel to the user with the best channel quality
2High system throughput but not fair(user thr degraded)

This could be caused by limited radio resources (codes, power or transmission resources).
Try to increase the HS-PDSCH Codes for the site to 30 and monitor.

Hi John,

If everything normal and sufficent like CQI,Iub bandwith etc, try to examine code usage at each session. You can also try SC and DC option if you have in your network.
