Target value of service DL DCH_BLER Optimization

Hi all,

Currently I have configured the default values for the DL OLPC, and i'm looking forward to reduce the DL total code power in the cell. I'm working with a Huawei RNC in RAN13.

My question is if someone have some experience to share about the optimization of the service target DL BLER. More specific for the AMR 12.2kbps service.

Currently the DL Target BLER is 0.01 (-20 in the Huawei MML parameter BLERQuality in the UTYPRABOLPC).

My intention is to increase the BLER Target so less power will be needed for each AMR user in DCH.

Hi all,

Does anyone knows if the Huawei "BLERtarget" parameter in UTYPRABOLPC is for DL and UL or only for UL? since in E******* the parameter is different: blerQualtytargetDl and blerQualityTargetUl.

Also I attach here a very good document about Huawei Power Control algorithm.
