Multiband HO stratégie ?

Hi experts;

Does anyone have a document explaining how to give the priority to a band (1800) by tuning HO parameters (Supplier = Huawei).

PS : i need the exact names for parameters as it's my first contact with Huawei equipment.

change cell layer between 900 & 1800 and enable layer HO. you can adjust layer threshold to control the load


LAYER Layer of The Cell Meaning: Layer where a cell is located. The network designed by Huawei has four layers: Umbrella (layer 4), Macro (layer 3), Micro (layer 2), and Pico(layer 1). Each layer can be set with 16 priorities.

GUI Value Range: 1, 2, 3, 4

Actual Value Range: 1, 2, 3, 4

Recommended Value: 3


LEVHOEN Level HO Allowed Meaning: Whether to allow inter-layer and inter-level handovers. The inter-layer and inter-level handover algorithm is achieved through the setting of different layers and priorities for cells, which switches traffic to cells of a higher precedence (decided by Layer of the cell and Cell priority together).

GUI Value Range: NO(No), YES(Yes)

Actual Value Range: NO, YES

Unit: None

Default Value: None

Recommended Value: YES
