Dear experts,

Please, advice me how to remote E******* Node B using GSM/CDMA Modem.
What should be I have know and to do for the first step.

Maybe for network topology like this is it possible to remote Node B??? :
My computer with GSM/CDMA Modem -----> RNC IP Ethernet -------> Node B IP
Or many idea pls???

Did you try to plug a GPRS modem with the RS232/Eth connection cable to LMTA port?

it was possible bro? i can remote other BTS/Site B from BTS A for example bro? have u tried before?
is correct must be have rs232 to rj comm cable?

Theoretically it is possible.


It's only a RS232 connection to another RS232 via GSM modem. I have not tested it but should use the same cable as for local connection to OMT.


Take in mind that I mean to control a BTS from your PC using a GSM/GPRS modem like a Wismo. Not to connect from BTS-A to BTS-B...
