View Full Version : E// 3G System Problems: Why the MP Load very high when 1 NodeB have CE Congession

Dear Experts,
We are facing with 1 problems: At 1 RNC Module, we have 1 NodeB with UL CE rich 80% at peak hour. When we don't set CeUlAdm value(it mean equal 100) - haven't got any problems with MP Load. When we set CeUlAdm's value lower than 80%(50% for example), the Load of this RNC Module increase to very high level(~100%) while RRC Attempt doesn't increase. After that, all sites at this RNC Module there are many RRC Reject due to MP Load High and all of mail KPIs are worse. The Sites at other RNC Module are not effected.
This problems happen at both P7 and W10B RNC versions. We don't used RRC Load Control feature at moment.

With this phenomenon, please help me why and how to resolve:
- Have any E*******'s 3G System System with same phenomenon ?
- Have any Problems with UL CE Adm theory at E******* System?
- Guide me the way to find the reason of this problems?

Maybe your GPB board related to this site is malfunctioning. I faces such a problem and gave a restart to that GPB board problem disappeared. Try it

Actually in my case in 2 different RNC i faced such a problem but all cells located on GPB board had unreasonable rejection after restart did not appear again . It happened on W10 SW version

may u can check your setting for TX device for your node-B
beacuse in my network one time had problem like this.
may ucan share your result of comand INVH at node-B
and setting for your txdevice

Majorly, rise in MP load is related to increase in traffic. Phenomenon is, once traffic reaches a particular value increase in MP load is triggered, As per Accessibility algorithm RRC establishment check whether MP load is present, if yes that request is rejected. Due to initial request reject, more RRC attempts occurs as a result it further increases MP load and degraded KPI of entire RNC and Network.

First thing to do is identify culprit site, map the GPB board it is located on. Either load balance the board by migrating sites, or arrange for an additional boards.

The result of INVH Command as the attached file. Our site have 2 Tx Card: TxHS06 & TxHs04 at Slot 10 &11. Both of them are TxDeviceGroup 1. Have any error with this configuration?
To Electron: We haven't restarted the GBP but restarted the RNC last month. The problems isn't disappear.

- The RbsChannelElementsUplink is 192, equal to License and RbsChannelElementsDownlink is 256, larger than license.
Do you have any document say that we can setup maximum 2 HSPA Resource per each TX6HS?

Hi! It's ok to have numHsCodeResources=3 with your boards configuration. Check attachment below.

I would strongly recommend to check RAB fails due UL. 192 Ch.El. in UL
sometimes is not enough even for 3 sectors and you have 6. Just add another RAX board for this site,
you may also decrease number of EUL users 16->2 as temporary solution.
