I faced this problem too, in my case issue with wrong data while creating site, so better make fresh data base and delete the site n create with new data.

dear deknoi55,

need more info. please sepcify wendor .
have you checked core definition ?
have you checked ciphering algorythm ?
have you checked RF equipments (combiner/TRX/...) ?
have you checked cell bar in idle mode parameter ?
have you checked current TA in DT and MAX TA parameter ?

Do a IMSI trace to see where the connection drops and then start digging.

Dear Deknoi55

Try to check the lac definition from Rnc And Msc, maybe the definition is not correct. Since PS service are normal.

please add reputation if you find my message helpful

thanks

Have you already tested on site. Most of the times you can troubleshoot by just cheking Layer 3 on mobile.
Use TEMS or Nemo than maybe more help be available.

Dear,

Check your data config in RNC (CN operator/CI/SAC/LAC/.....) and check SAI (LAC+SAC) in core network create or not ?

Check RRC Connection and Radio Access Bearer Establishment and Release using the following procedure:
1. Start Iub interface tracing on the BSC6900 LMT
2. Establish a service on the UE (in this case a voice call). Among the traced Iub data, view the dCH-ID in the
DCH-Specific-FDD-Item IE in the NBAP_RL_SETUP_REQ message. The result
shows that the ID of the transport channel that carries signaling is 32.
3. View the transmissionTimeInterval and nrOfTransportBlocks IEs in the ul-TransportFormatSet IE associated with the DCH whose dCH-ID value is 32.
–If the value of transmissionTimeInterval is 40, you can infer that an RRC
connection is established for a 3.4 kbit/s service.
–If the value of transmissionTimeInterval is 20, you can infer that an RRC
connection is established for a 6.8 kbit/s service.
–If the value of transmissionTimeInterval is 10 and the maximum value of
nrOfTransportBlocks is 1, you can infer that an RRC connection is established
for a 13.6 kbit/s service.
–If the value of transmissionTimeInterval is 10 and the maximum value of
nrOfTransportBlocks is 2, you can infer that an RRC connection is established
for a 27.2 kbit/s service.
4. Release the service on the UE, and perform Uu interface tracing. If you find an
RRC_RRC_CONN_REL_CMP message in the traced data, you can infer that the
RRC connection is released.

If the above procedure concers with your finds, then you have to check the conversational QoS Class settings.

Erastus
