I found this document 29320 from Ceragon. It talks about "optimized" TDM pseudowires.

unfortunatly u are forced to close the session between two ceragon IDU
in case of aggregation to core this is a limitation
some MW vendors are interoperable with cisco for close PWE3 sessions
