Hello there,
We have ********, NSN Flexi BSC with EDGE Horizon sites, Huawei, and ZTE. If we want to calculate one figure for drop call rate we used to add all the numerators of matching formulas, and divide by the total of all denominators from all vendors.
Later on we decided to calculate DCR based on traffic weight of each vendor, so we determined the traffic weight for each vendor by dividing the vendor_traffic by total vendors traffic and then we multiplied the result by individual DCR for each vendor. Network DCR will be the summation of weighted DCR.
Difference is very minor from the previous method. The question is, which method is more accurate? Is there any other method to fidn one DCR value in a multi-vendor network?
