Hi,
In NodeB password is showing wrong (default is rbs) some one is changed or not no idea but I need to access Node B how? and can we put it back to normal? Please guide me

usually it should be rbs , if not otherwise it should be rbs+last 4 digits of the NodeB.

Thank you for the mail and I tried but not working. Before its rbs only but suddenly its changed we don't now, who did changes. Now what is solution to recover this password??? please

I did recommissiong but no use. Started with Intial CV and we can't do formating also because even there also its asking to enter password

ftp to the nodeB then delete the passwd file, use cmd passwd make a new password.

You are wrong!If you don`t know password,you couldn't ftp to the node.

I agree with Sabila.
Or just simply clone from other same type node b.
Using serial connection, then format ther hard drive both /c and /d.

Hi,
Wrong passwd doesn't affect the FTP connect,Effects of telnet and moshell CMD only。
1、Use tool connect Node ,like Total Commander.
2、cd C\security\ find file passwd and delete.
3、in moshell use passwd;rbs;rbs make passwd to normal.

Even Total Commander you should enter username and password. Without entering the password how you are going to connect.

copy all flash card disk from other node B with same type.
change the CBU modul with new -->copiedfile transfer to new module
than u can change commisioning again from the beggining or just change the important part
like IP
site name,site id etc

Hi!Here is the procedure:
Reload nodeB using power switch or from EM,then during the boot process press enter many times and when you will see $ put:
reload --
cd /c2/security
rm passwd
reload
And after that you can use any password in order to login
So,try it!

I have encountered the same problem. I tried to connect using Total Commander but without the correct password we cannot establish ftp connection. What I did is reset the DUW then quickly typed reload -- on the hyperterminal. Re-format d & c2 then re-integrate the RBS

Hi,I have the solution!1. Unscrew and remove the card DUW Compact Flash 2 gigabytes.2. Insert the Compact Flash card into the reader and connected to the PC.3. Once you're connected to format the disc (reset of the card).4. Insert the card into the card DUW.5. Commissioning.BR
