Hi Experts,

Needed your comment on the UcellinterratHocov setting as follows:

Are the setting sets on left side able to tackle on fast fading users? From statistic it is seems there were too many PSUTRAN attempt and many failure pegged under IRATHO.FailOutPSUTRAN.PhyChFail.

Can anyone comment or share on the strategy for improving fast fading PSinterRAT case? thank you

Hi

I think you can try to modify the trigger time delay for 2D, make the value smaller to make the IRAT faster
( D0, D10, D20, D40, D60, D80, D100, D120, D160, D200, D240, D320, )

since the setting for IRAT 2G threshold is already in good value.i suggest to check also if the number of 2g site if enough and no congestion

to optimized "IRATHO.FailOutPSUTRAN.PhyChFail. " Please read the discription & recommendation below

After receiving the CCO message, the UE starts the T309 timer. The T309 timer is stopped if the UE sets up a connection in a new cell. Once the T309 timer times out, the original 3G cell is returned and the CCO failure message is sent.
− Check the configuration of the GSM neighboring cell parameters. If the parameters are not configured correctly, the access is initiated in an incorrect target cell.
− Check whether the status and KPIs of the target cell are normal.
− Check the resource utilization of the target cell, and determine whether the access failure is caused by the insufficiency of resources.
− Check whether there exists strong interference in the GSM radio environment.

Left side settings are very aggressive. These will not help in PSIRAT case. Suggest to revert to default or loose further because PS works fine at -105 level.

The left side setting were causing alot of IRATHO.FailOutPSUTRAN.PhyChFail. btw, any idea how to cope fast fading ? thank you

Fast Fading locations be identified by cell basis and parameter settings be done as per spots.
