Yes, of course. Must use the Global mapper

Hi,

Hi,
After importing the SRTM file in Global Mapper, follow the following steps:
1. Goto Tools...Configure menu
2. Goto Projection tab
3. Choose the correct projection from the drop down menu. I chose UTM.
4. Then choose the correct zone.
5. Click OK
6. Goto File...Export Elevation Grid Format
7. Choose BIL/BIP/BSQ File
8. In Export Bounds you can choose to export only required area.
9. Click Ok and you're done.

Check PM. You need to edit Index.txt

I've done follow your step. Aircom can't read exported map because not have index.txt file.
Could you help me to show how to create/edit index.txt file.

Hi,

Is it possible to convert SRTM(.hgt) files to Aircom DTM format?

Yes, you can convert but Asset usually can not open it (I tried many times with many tools)

It is better if you buy the Asset map format :D

Best Regards

Hello everyone!
Help please. I'm trying to load into Asset DTM's after conversion from GlobalmMapper, but the heights are false, they should be in the range of 300-500m and instead they -20000 - 20000m, if you open the same file in any other program that height again normal, the problem probably in index.txt, but it's all right, coordinates and resolution are correct. If anyone encountered this problem tell me how to solve it. Thanks!

please upload your file to the file-sharing and give a link. I'll see what could be the problem.
