Dear All,

Can someone share how to disable 2G to 3G handovers in NSN. I have already retuned the QSearch parameters to discourage 2g to 3G HO but still IRAT handovers are happening. I need to disable them completely.

Delete all ADJW in 2G Network or disable ISHO (ZWOS:2,739:;)

If you delete all ADJW 2G to 3G than How can you reselect the 3G network in idle mode?

The reselection process is related to QSRI parameter (7 always search, 15 never search). To be sure try with one Site/CELL to delete ADJW and set QSRI=7, so you will have reselection to 3G but no HO. If you try please reply the results.

Thanks for the feedback, but how about changing minEcnoThreshold to 0.5dbm.

The value 0.5 dB of this parameter means that the BSC is never allowed to initiate a handover attempt from the serving GSM cell towards the WCDMA RAN cell because a CPICH Ec/Io level measured by mobiles can be maximum 0 dB.

Yes I agree, minEcnoThreshold is ADJW parameter, If you want to have ADJW you set the value to 0.5 to all ADJW.
