Interference in GSM Network.

How can I define Interference by Equipment or HSN (Maybe). I have already checked BCCH and it was good. Thank you!

you can determine if the network is suffering from interference through drive test my friend...

I have already checked through driving test many times. It is very difficult to define interference, which was created by Equipment or HSN.

you must checked the maio and hsn manually my friend.. also in the drive test what signalling messages do you get?

Hi Lihanbok,

I think, you first need to check the RSSI at the BS being investigated 'cause the RSSI is normally measured at idle slots in the Uplink. If the RSSI is higher value than normal condition, it is then likely to have interference occuring. The next step is to use a spectrum analyser measuring RF signal on the uplink frequency band at the BTS considered being interfered.
