Hello,

I'm trying to calculate the theoretical expected HSDPA throughput, and I've found the following formula to determine the SINR:

SINR=#SF16*P_hs-pdsch/[P_tot(1-alpha+1/G)], where:

#SF16 - number of allocated codes;
P_hs-pdsch - assigned HS power;
P_tot - total available NodeB power;
alpha - orthogonality;
G - geometry factor.

My question is: can someone define the geometry parameter - what's the meaning and how to determine?

Thanks in advance!

Hello, from where you got this formula? If you mean cell geometry it indicates the isolation between the cell and the NGBR cells, the inverse of cell geometry is the little i
