SD Drops in NSN

Experts : pl share some parameters to reduce SD Drops in NSN system apart from T200S.

Hi

Pls cell the high SD drop sectors, remap to BCCH trx...to an extent it may get u a good solution.

Also reduce the TA by limiting power or Tilts.

Can you also please suggest some parameters by which TCH Drops & RX Quality DL/UL can be improved??
Also do you think that there could be any degradations in the RXQ/TCH Drops after enabling antenna hopping feature?

Hi Parsarka, Normally there should not be any degradation in Qual with AHOP.

For TCH drop start with cleaning frequency plan, cleaning neighbor plan, controlling overshooting. This AHOP should also have shown impact on TCH drop. did u have that?

may set it to max value provided in parameter description in the NED of ur BSS version

Thanks..wanted to share with you that I have got around 50% improvement in SD drops specialy in the BBH but there was no visible improvement in the TCH Drops...but obviously the RXQ-DL showed degradations...so I have kept it enabled only in those cells where there was no impact in RXQ....pls suggest somethin for Quality :)

Good to know about the improvement in SD Drop. I have one question: you mentioned that the improvement is more obvious in cells with BBH, what about RF hopping, those cells also have degradation in DL quality? do you have two antennas per sector or single polarized antenna.

Hi

One more reason which i faced recently is TSC mismatch .Due to same faced severe SD drops/SMS issue/TCH drop
