Dear Guys,

I need your support please,
We have swap project in Iraq, one E/// test cell was created last week but now we have a problem of there is no HO from E/// to ******** cells, even there is no HO command during DT.
Ho from Moto to E/// is normal.

Your swift and kind support is needed.

1- you have to check RF parameters in E******* system is it define correctly for ******** site (BCCH, BISC, CellId)
2- the BISC in ******** system writen in decimal but in E******* in Octal
3- if the sites are not in same switch. check the sites are defined in both MSCs as external neighbors

delete and then redefine neighbors / redefine CIs in the MSC / check HO parameters between both cell rxlev_min_cell and other parameters for power budget HO / try locking the detniation BCCH in TEMS during drive test / check external definition for cell since in Huawei Cell Index for external definition is different compared to internal definition /check LAC definition for both the cells.....

Thank you Usama, we did all these things, also we locked on BCCH of the neighbor but there was no HO command even!!!

check the ciphering and AMR supported by both the sites follow the same settings / have Cipher Option included in Handover Command / trace interface messages since there is no Handover Command....HO Request message must be followed by Handover Failure analyze HO Failure message and HO Request Message and check if HO Request Address Indicator is different for the 2 BSCs....check DPC of the BSCs.....check E1 clock....

There is no Handover command...once the level and quality go down the call drops...
