How to calculate the TRX configuration for A BTS site on given frequency.











Suppose for example if i have 4.4Mhz frequency in 900 and 6Mhz in 1800 how to calculate the configuration for TRX per site. Nac anyone say to calculate formula for configuration.

imo thats depends heavily on your frequency re use factor..
4.4Mhz on 900, that means you would have 4400/200 = 22 arfcn's that could be used both for BCCH and Hopping Channels.
6 Mhz on 1800, you would have 6000/200 = 30 arfcn's both for bcch and hopping channels..

the no of BTS and no of cell is depend on the configuration of ur sites like S4/4/4
after that can determine the basic frequency reuse mode that used like GSM like 4*3 frequency reuse
