Hi All,

Why NSN didn't implement the base band to be able to configure the capacity differently between down-link and up-link like E*******? E******* TX, TXHS and RAX cards can have different capacity but NSN FSME will have equal number of Channnel elements in UL and DL.

Also when we configure one HS Scheduler in NSN why does it reserves 72 channel elements in DL and UL? Isn't it should be in DL only?

Thanks

you are totally right. And NSN will fix this bad implementation with RU30.

Thanks elkador. But in RU30 Feature description I didn't see that.

In RU30 CE are replaced by Subunit. Both CE and Subunit are purely conceptual, since it doesn't change the actual amount of DSP in a FSM.
But if you look at the mechanic showing how to attribute Subunit, you will see that there is a slight improvement...
