Hi all,
So, when deploying a new UMTS network in dense urban area, what will be better in terms of lower cost and better KPIs stability :

To start the deployment with U2100 band and after that add the U900 for better coverage and capacity?
To start the deployment with U900 and after that deploys the U2100?

Waiting for your interaction :)

BR,
Fahmi.

Dear Fahmi,
i think this is related to your band, if your network is 2G/3G then your should be very careful in using UMTS 900 because UMTS need a dedicated 5M to operate and maybe the reserved frequencies to you from the government is not enough so it is better to go for UMTS 2100 and select area which has low 2G RF load to deploy UMTS 900 on it.
in addition to that you can use UMTS 900 to target far area from the site which can't be covered by UMTS 2100 just like an isolated island, etc..
