Dear Experts,

Do you have any ideas or trials on improving HSDPA Retainability in NSN RU20 environment?

first look are failures due to RL or capacity, try to look if there’s any correlation with traffic change on cell level, or if failures are from particular cell only or all cells.. Chech IFHOs for problematic cells as well..

And look carefully for TS notes. There is a lot of bug fix in there and parameter optimization.

Try to reduce Uplink SIR HO, it is not helping at all...

You can also try to increase value of the timer T315.
Default is 10 sec but 3gpp default value is 180.
Moreover you can than easily note where cell updates with unrecoverable/synch error happen and you will statistically reduce drop for data services.

Hi,

if you fave F-DPCH you can disable this and your drop will be reduced for 40%.
Than you can try to increase EbNo for UL R99 DCH for 1 or 2 db .

make sure to have the lastest PRFILE.
Also, RNC MP6 and corresponding WBTS release is important.
