Somebody Know this alarm: "RF Loop Test Fault"

Hi Friends Experts,

May be somebody knows this Alarm in E******* Equipments, I Have this alarm in RBS2106 and RBS2111,
But nobody could explain about this alarm...

This alarm causes congestion in the SDCCH.

I Will apreciate you help...

Hi,
Can you please explain about the fault code or complete detail may be, loop test failed on TRX Time slot where SDCCH defined and causing SDCCH congestion.If it is the case then do the following

For Example:
three TS not operational due loop test failed

1st block that Time slot via RXBLI:mo=rxots-#- ;
then
RXLTI:mo=rxots-#-#

if there loop test failed then check the abis path may be you are using abis optimization and some abis TS not connected due to any reason or if you are not using Abis optimization feature then check abis devices status through
STDEP:dev=rblt2-#&-#;
if some Time slot of abis not operational then provide abis TS otherwise check your EDGE TS may be your Abis TS is not as per required TRX & EDGE TS.
Now deblock that affected TS by
rxble:mo=rxots-#-#;
rxmsp:mo=rxots-#-#;

rf loop test failed alarm usually have high effect on SDCCH congestion and Drops.
you can follow this procedure to solve it:
rxbli:mo=rxotrx-trx,subord,force; block mo
rxese:mo=rxotrx-trx,subord; take out of service
rxesi:mo=rxotrx-trx,subord; bring into service
rxlti:mo=rxots-trx-0&&-7; perform loop test
rxble:mo=rxotrx-trx,subord; unblock


try, if it does not work, then there might be problem with transmission radio.

in short words ,,,,you have a faulty TRX/TRU on the cabinet.....

send someone to the site to investigate and replace the defective unit if needed.

did you try reloading and performing the loop test failure test. how did it go.
