sector split between 2E1´s

Hi,

It´s possible have one sector split between two E1´s with EDGE enable? e.g, conf 4/4/4 with 2E1´s, on first E1 we have (all the TRX´s from first sector and 2 TRX from second sector) and the others on second E1.

that is possible but you need to know what concentration & confact factor you are using cause edge consumes 1 timeshot in the abis.

In NSN BSC this is possible, you can have 2 TRX's per sector in one E1 and the other 2 in the second E1. You can configure EDGE in all sectors in this way.

The document only have the exemple for sector A and B on first E1 and sector C on second E1...I need the TRX of one sector splited between both E1´s...e.g. Sector 2 have 4 TRX and i need to know if it´s possible to have TRX1 and 2 on first E1 and TRX 3 and 4 on second E1, all TRX with EDGE. Do you have any document with that information?

It is possible but you need 2 EDAP one per each E1 and to these EDAP's you attach the TRX's that are configured in that E1.
