Dear all,

The sharing information about the BTS 3900 has been most helpful in my project. I would like to especially thank my friend besoeso, sher and the moderator who has been utmost helpful.

I would just like to ask some question here to complete my project:

1) What is the BBU 3900's transmission power? eg. the BBU 3703 has a 20W Tx Power.

2) What is the bandwidth and throughput capacity of the BBU 3900? eg the BBU 3703 has a bandwidth of 5/10 Mhz and throughput capacity of 30Mbps/FA at 10 Mhz.

3) What antenna technology does the BTS 3900 usue? eg the BTS 3703 uses a 2x2 MIMO technology.

4) How many RRU does the BTS 3900 support?

5) How many users per sector does it support?

For a section of my project, I am suppose to compare and contrast the improvement in Wimax and LTE technology over these few years. Would greatly appreciate if anyone can help in this respect.:)

Thanks for the info guys. However, after reviewing all the info sent to me, I realise that all the specification and performance is with regards to UMTS or CDMA. However, I am doing a project on WiMax and LTE so i cannot use much of the info.

However, i juz want to ask does Huawei have a BTS that combines both beamforming and MIMO technology together as one station?

Any info on that??

regards
Junwen

So far the research i have done has come up with a few results:

The only BTS that does Beamforming + MIMO is the CISCO Navini WiMax equipment.

Also it seems Huawei has a 4x10W BTS and possibly Beamforming + MIMO???

Any comments??
