Hi guys,

In the old days whenever I plugged in a handset/dongle to a Windows PC, it would create a modem with an assigned port number. I could then use something like hyperterminal to send AT commands and control the device.

Newer devices however (e.g. Samsung LTE dongle) do not offer a modem to the operating system, only a network adapter interface. Is there any way I can communicate with this network adapter and send AT commands to it? If so, how do I do it and what tools do I use?

thanks
