Thanks for your post it is a usfel one. But do you try the feature of Fast return to WCDMA as i understand the feature is used to reduce the time of an ureacheble time for MS after call release by avioding location update in 2G?
so if you any describtion for the feature along with parameters setting for it will be apprecaited if you submitted?
we try it but still the MS performing LU for 2G then for 3G after call realease in 2G.

Many reported the same behavior in some networks. I will look for more data about this.
