ALU Optical Management System User Course TR4530.
Course Objectives
This course has the following objectives:
Operate the Lucent OMS GUI, including the Network Map
Establish the topology of the network being managed
Manage individual network elements in the network
Manage all types of connections
View system logs
Perform database synchronizations, create TL1 macro files, and schedule tasks
Manage events in the network, including alarms and TCAs
Monitor the performance of the end-to-end paths in the network
