Problems To Connect Element Manager In BTS 6000 [Archive]

Hello Guys:

Please I Need Your Help, I Trying To Connect With Element Manager a RBS 6201, But I Can't. I Connect With a Right Cable UTP And The Ip 169.254.1.1, The EM Download The Information Of BTS But Half Of The Process throws me a cache error "Bemhlp.jar"

someonethis happened ?

Same problem here.

Vodafone and Yoigo networks [ES]

Someone at support team told me they're working on it. It's about a Java VM compatibility issue...

Hi again.

Our support team found a temporal solution for this issue.

Try to change the computer's date to sometime before 2011.12.11. It should work.

Had the same problem with 3216. the solution worked for me.

The exact problem is a Java expired certificate in the BTS and the RNC. RXI are not affected.

It works as a emergency workaround.

Hope a fix will be released soon.

thanks for the specific info, Abuelooorl

dunno if this is relevant, but in my case changing the pc date to
earlier and connecting successfully with Element Manager to rbs and
after that changing the date to normal i was able to connect ok.

apparently after getting the bemhlp and bunch of other jars
from the rbs with the wrong pc date, it's not needed to change
the date again with future connections, in my case at least..

great forum btw, too bad i didn't
find here earlier :)
