Hope anyone could help me with a problem that is showing up more frequently.
This problem only occurs on some of the new RBS's with the new SW.

Specs:
RBS 6102 WCDMA with SW version: R4C03
Correct IP/Subnet settings.
Java version: 1.6

Problem:
Can't connect through RBS Element Manager. When trying to connect I get an error message saying: "Failed to verify a JAR - The application cannot be started".
I've added a Prt Scr of the Error message below.

Any help on this would be very much appriciated.

Hello, have you had any luck trying to resolve the problem?

I'm also getting the same error message with RBS 6601 along with a few of my colleagues.
My colleagues have also reported similar problems with the 3000-series. Serial
console and ftp connections to RBS work fine. Tried reinstalls of Element Manager
and different Java versions, but no go. Also tried connecting with a laptop with
relatively clean install of winXP..

i also would be grateful of any help.

We found the problem. Try to change the date of your pc to one year in the past.

thanks for the reply. apparently the same fix (changing the date, to 11.12.2011 or
earlier to be specific) works also for the other error ("cacheError: ... bemhlp.jar")
that was encountered recently. there's another thread about that error with
more specific info.

thx,
chammy

1. Open up Windows Explorer and find directory C:\Documents and Settings\Username\e*******.

2. Tried copy all folder e******* on the document setting file folder exp C:\Documents and Settings\Username\E*******\ from the other notebook can be working to open Element Manager.

3. Override old E******* folder with following action on step 2.

4. After that, reinstall Element Manager Appication.
Note : Don't forget to used java application needed on C:\Program Files\Java\jre6\bin (Change Jre6 to your Java version installed before).

Maybe it is a JRE 1.3 version that must be installed?
