Hello

Can some one let me know what does above alarm mean? and what effects the alarm has to the cells perfomance or KPIs such as SDCCH access rate, SDCCH DRO etc

Thanks

this alarm is telling you that there is mismatch between your abis device and the assigned device and always came with VSAT sites , please check the command RXAPP and compare it with VSAT number

Thanks to Khalid, he is right, In case of Abis E1s connected through VSAT, this might be a reason of having such alarm.

If so, please check the TimeSlots assigned on both VSAT Modems of the site and compare them with the DCPs allocated from BSC side(Using RXAPP command),

[For example if DCPs are: 1,2,3,4,5,6,7, so TimeSlots on VSAT modems have to be 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 sequentially].

May be after timeslots correction you need to take the MOs out of service and bring them back to service.(RXBLI/RXESE/RXESI/RXLTI(RXOTS MOs)/RXBLE).

Incorrect RBS mode (CASCADED or STAND ALONE), or bad transmission quality of the Abis E1 also could be the reason (loss of TRAU FRAME header)
