You can use Microsoft Office 2007 to open PPTX files.

Also I guess u can delete 'x' from the file extension (.pptx) so u will get only .ppt and then could be able to open with any power point version.

Hi I think is not possible :D. only u can open the file with Microsoft office 2007 and save it as ppt.
