2 Questions regarding Huawei logs

1. Why the CHR logs in ver 12 are very small compares to older CHR's ?
2. I heard there is a way to connect hardware to the RNC and see full messages logs in Nastar. Can anybody share details on that?

What I have learned so far from CHRs RAN12 is that on normal calls a lot of RF information is not logged anymore:

The following statement was taken out from a Xeus CHR Analysis Quick Guide.

"The following information is no longer recorded to the PCHR log for normal calls:RF information, resource information, link synchronization information, and abnormal
information in the SHO information block, Inter‐frequency neighboring cell information and
inter‐RAT neighboring cell information in the network optimization information block,
standard interface messages, and abnormal information in the RRC release information block."

The HW unit you mean I think it is the SAU, a unit that goes on the RNC and collect and sent MMR to Nastar.
