Question: Difference Between Tems Phone and other ordinary phones

Does any one knows What's the difference between an ordinary phone and a TEMS phone? In other words can' I connect an ordinary phone to Tems Invetigatio to collect measurement?

It has to be a mobile test equipment. It has a different firmware from the others.

Yes it is in firmware. Special firmware allows reading the information out and controlling the device from the platform (TEMS kit) also instead of being only under the control of the BTS or NodeB. From the HW point, phones would be the same...

Hi peanut, There are many topics on this forum. You can search in Firmwares/Scripts box to find the firmware for TEMS. In addition, if you use Nokia phone, you can try Fieldtest software, you can view much RF information.
