Hello!

Without deep analyzis: it looks like only few members are actually
giving reputation. Most are not doing it.

WIth so much emphasis on reputation, I would propose to motivate
reputation giving as well: maybe via one credit per 10 reputations given?

I'm of the opinion more will take advantage of it for no reasons just give reputation on any post.

I don't think so.... Currently the system is working fine. We already disscussed this in similar thread few weeks ago.
Giving reputation can't be the reason for getting more credits!!!

Having been thinking about this the last couple of days I'm starting to think that reputation needs to be harder to earn than credits. Like the real world you get plenty of thanks but only over time does your reputation change.

As the saying goes 'Respect is earned not given'

It is implemented, thanks.

So, for every reputation given, we get 2 credit points.
While reading this trhread gives me 1 point.

Thus, giving reputation is encouraged.

p.s. And I will get 2 points for this message ;-)

I observed many people dont know how to give reputation.
I think we have to prepare one video on this and upload to youtube so user can listen and use this forum effectively.

And it's particularly slowly if you used to be a Senior Member, and then were reverted to Member status due to forum changes.

I do not think it is not they dont know. It is just that they dont like to give it or lazy to click on it.

Changing icon w w w.finetopix.com/images/buttons/reputation-40b.png with text "REPUTATION" will be good.
Also bad is that interface is very slow. Click on icon and wait 5 to 10 seconds for box Add reputation....
