apparently its a license issue problem,check if you put lic file in the correct path

or perhaps you used invalid lic

check the path for liscence file..also u shuld not have another mapinfo in same drive.

Lic-file for this version Planet is generate with specially hardvare ID(Disk ID, Ethernet Mac-Adress). Your licence is wrong.

if u r having valid lservrc, reinstall mentum and paste it at the time of first registartion with option manually.

try to disable any network card/connection.
Reason:
If you're running a licenseserver Mentum will fail on certain configurations when you try to use a stand-alone license. You can convert it to a licenseserverversion and load it inside there.

It's impossible to use MP 5.3 in work as I've to be connected to Internet all the time :-(

you need disable the LAN just during a period of entering the programm then after that turn on

LAN and using internet...

@justdream:u need 2 disable lan & other internet connection in the final steps of installing lic,after getting ur mp up & running ....u can normaly enable ur internet connection

Is there anything else needed apart from Setup.inx in order to make MP 5.3 to work?

I have this file for 5.2.1 (I haven't installed any of these version though) will this work for 5.3 as well or there is a different way to make 5.3 to work?
If so where can I get the files, as I have looked all over the forums and didn't manage to get anything on my hands (apart from Setup.inx of course)
