Aircom Mobile Wimax Planning

Dear forum members,

I'm looking for any training for Mobile WiMax planning in Asset (6.0 or 7.0).

It will be greatly appreciated if someone can give me any models, or some documents how to create/tune Mobile WiMax model.

Rooster,

Don't really get your question?! Model tunning you can do in two ways:
1. Using CW DT's and then you don't care about technology, only of frequency.
2. Using DT's from a life network, which in Aircom is a pain in the back as you either have the Ranopt and can get the DT's directly or you have to split them externaly by cell.

Either way you'll use only the geographic position and signal level from DT's.

I remember that somewhere in the forum I've seen a link to an older doc from Aircom about the Model tunning, which is no longer available on Aircom site. try a search.

Actually I found one model and its settings are for 2500 MHz. I need to plan mobile WiMax on 3.5 GHz so I thought that by changing some settings of the model it will work for 3.5 GHz.

I've planned only GSM/UMTS network with Asset, so some guide for WiMax will be perfect.

I do have some 3.5 model tuned for London, using Orange lab model as well as standard model using CW DT's. Let me know if anything from those can help you.

I'll appreciate if you can share the model, but still not sure how to plan exactly. Do you have some antenna pattern and equipment template as well?
It is for nominal planning and I don't have anything for WiMAX.

the project was done in mentum Planet, and all the patterns I have are in .paf format. I have nothing on Aircom for Wimax:(
