can any one tell me why UE Transmit power is always -ve in Tems and as per my understanding UE transmit power should be 24 dbm.
Even if power control is enabled how could be power in -ve.

Max UE TX Power is 24 - it's reaching that in areas with poor coverage. In areas with good coverage it's low normally

The dynamic power range of a typical UMTS UE is from -50dBm to +24dBm. This corresponds to 0.00001 milliwatts up to 240 milliwats. So -ve dBm is positive Watts but very small values..

thanks a lot for your reply. can you tell me about the different modes of UE in 3G.
like Cell_FACH mode. In which scenarios UE goes into Cell_FACH mode.
Also what is the difference between URA_PCH and Cell_PCH mode.
