This can be a stupid questions but how can i install this plugins? or i just copy this files in the folder where global mapper 11 is installed

i have a problem i convert the files that i download like srtm files o aster files, but when i download information of open street map for convert in a files xx.IMG, is very slow..

Anyone can tell me how i converted a image like jpg or download from open street map to a files .img, because when i convert the files en ICS TELECOM i have a errar that tell me that the resolution of the image .img is diferent of the resolution of the file .GEO

In resumen i have this error display when i load a proyect. the images of the error are attahched..

the captured are erro1 and erro2

in any one know please help me:o

the resolution of the DTM must be a integer multiple or submultiple of the image file.

ok thank you. i didnt know that.
How i see the resolution of the dtm? or how i set that?
Another things that i see is an info that tell me that the information is so much so i have to chooce two options:
a. geotiff--->normally
b. biggeotigg---> i didnt that means

I attached a image it show 8 hours finding the optimun palette color is normal that?

When you export format ATDI terrain is indicated that the resolution will be created.
If you already have a file in this format you must load it and pretend to turn it into another format and you will see the window below.
If the image file that you want to create, it is with a very high resolution, there will be a very long time.

thank you of course my reoslution was in xxxxe-6 so this is so much informationn now i am calculatin in orden od meter (35 or 50 meter) thanks you know everything

One other thing, for ATDI ICS Telecom you have to use a UTM WGS84 projection.

But whwn i download information for open street map the proyection isnt in UTM, the proyection is in mercator datum google map, the shap that i used the proyection is geographic datum WGS84 and the information that i download from Aster the proyection is in geographic datum WGS84..
I need to converted to the new proyection UTM new zone. is obligation?
I have to converted all the layer that i use?

Yes to have the resolution in meters.

when i changed the proyection to utm the imagen of the map disappear...:L the proyection of the map is geografic with datum wgs84.

Another thing when i export the file .img in ics telecom tell me the Image files not compatible with dtm file !, both the .geo files and the .img have the same resolution 40 m by 40

why tell me that?

i can convert thi file .img and the file .geo.
But i have a problem(problems after problems) whn i simulated a coveraged in ics telecom with the file .geo all is normal but when i load the file .img the simulation is anormal diferente to the simulation with the file .geo.
I think that the file .img dont have the heights of the terrain of the map why can do that?

The file .img dont informatio about the heights??:eek::eek:

.img is an image, don't have the heights....


only .geo is a height...


and you can do a coverage only if you load a .geo...OK

I found the error.it had told me Zeuscane(but i didnt kown) NOw I Have to convert to the utm gsw84 proyection the DTM and the image .. It works now ... Thanks for everybody to tell me how keep my tools.
