Erlang Capacity of MSS/MGw

Can any suggst, how to check the installed capacity of E******* MSS/MGw in Erlangs.

Hi,

The total traffic load in Erlang can be estimated by dividing the counter pmNrOfMediaStreamChannelsBusy (from the MO MgwApplication) by 2.005, i.e.:
Current Traffic Load (Erl) = pmNrOfMediaStreamChannelsBusy / 2.005

The constant 2.005 is an estimate and even though it depends slightly on the traffic model it gives a good estimation of the traffic load.

I want to know the installed capacity, not the used capacity.

How can I check the installed capacity in Erlang of a MSS/MGw? Pl. share if any parameter is there to check the same.

login to MGW through OSS then run the following command

lhsh 000300 fro_lici_data_list

In the capacity limit parameter you will get the value in hex. Convert it.
That's your MGW installed capacity.

Another way to verify is using SMO OSS Tool
SMO=Softeare Manager Organizer

Right click -> Configuration -> Manage HW and SW Inventory -> SMO

In SMO you can check all the networks elements with their HW and SW and LIcensing

In The case of the MGW you must check Licence SCC and after you must divides by 2,005


It is the maximun capacity value in Erl in the MGW
