Yes, Actually there are some related paging counters, like PCH load and paging type 2.

But usually to calculate the paging load, we use the paging type 1 att RNC orig and CN orig.

Depends on your requirement, what do you want to calculate exactly ?

Yes paging load is also ok, I would like to know how is paging performance quality at RNC, is there any problem in terms of load, what is success rate etc... if you could give me this counters and explanation, I appreciate your help on this.

Hi,

I think we need to isolate, in which LAC the Paging Success Rate has worst peerformance.
Then we will know in which RNC the most contributor.

Then We can see the KPIs for those RNC eg CSSR DCR etc, since the paging procedure will related to CSSR.
So when you have CSSR problem then it will affect to the paging performance.

If you dont have paging deletion, i think the paging load is ok, just maintain the Paging load to 200-300 k paging per hour (even for 3G has higher number of paging than 2G).

Then if you still have problem it might be you have problem on Radio interface, suc as congestion on Signalling, coverage issue, etc.

I dont think so you can get the Paging success Rate per cell, but you can clean up all type of congestion on the cell.

take care since the RNC paging counter is not accurate In NSN since the Paging and the average Paging Success Rate is lower than the Paging Sucess Rate from the Core Side ,
and it is Highly effected if you have some locked or Down sites ( since the No paging reply is Counted as A faliuers )
