Disable ciphering in MSC

Dear experts,

To reduce call setup time, our network is going to disable ciphering at MSS side. But we don't know how it impact to the network after disabling.
Could any one help to explain some ideas about that and if having documents mentioning about that, please share.

MSC equipment: E*******
BSS/RNS: Huawei.

it wil reduce security on ur network. there is no other adverse effect.

Could you explain more or show some documents?
How about your cipher setting on your network. Did you have experience to disable cipher in your MSC?
if just reducing network security, why operators won't disable cipher in areas that security is not important??
