Hello,

Last week i had a high radio congestion on a site that i supervise.
1. NO codes congestion
2. NO CE congestion
3. The link Iub is about 16Mb, there is congestion . The 16Mb is the maximum in our network.
4. The SRB_reject rate UL et SRB_reject_rate DL is very high

I did the optimisation below:
1. I changed the FMCS identifier in order to do HO to the 2G as soon as possible
2. I desactivated the control admission UL and downlink

Conclusion: The congestion is not resolved.

Do you have an idea about this problem ?

In fact, we use the ATM transmission protocol ? Anyone can explain for me the link between the NodeB and RNC and how is diveded into VC and VP ?

Thanks in advance

Could you provide with:

UTRAN vendor

Iub topology: You said you use ATM and the link is 16 Mbps. Is this point to point connection, or there is some kind of high traffic point between RNC and Node-B

Finally, HSDPA/HSUPA is running over ATM for this site or a separate IP link?
