Drive logs to KML "RSCP" and "EcNo"

Hi friends,
Here I am sharing Excel macro to convert TEMS log file to KML, I hope my macro help you for better analysis, at this stage I wrote for “RSCP“ and “EcNo” only, I will add more parameter letter..
Please note this macro under testing, You may get Run-time error "9" Subscript out of range

I tested in excel 2007 and 2010..

if we can export logs file .FMT like tems or in excel them we can..
actually i my macro want lat-long in one coloum and value of paramete in next coloum..

Not working with M$ Office 2010. All security settings are off.

BTW, why the pass on the source? :p Open source FTW!

Enable "Developer tab" in Microsoft Office 2010

1. Start the application.

2. Click the File tab.

3. Click Options.

4. In the categories pane, click Customize Ribbon.

5. In the list of main tabs, select Developer.

6. Click OK to close the Options dialog box.

and then click Macro Security in Developer Tab to enable macro..

Restart Excel and try again..

Let me know if not worling..

I think you are using excel 2003... this macro can run only in excel 2010,, I am working on same, it will available soon for 2003 also..

If you are using excel 2010. PM me..

Now I extend expiry date at original post, check and revert if not working,
Note:: don't change/rename Workbook Name and worksheet name otherwise you get Run time error "9"..

Hi wmsworld & all,

For the same purpuse but for many other things too (map the 2G & 3G sites and cells into MapInfo & GoogleEarth) you may use Agileto tool for free (search in Google for Agileto GOLD edition). It may plot in MapInfo and GoogleEarth any metric that you want (Ex: EcNo / RSCP + RxLex for 2G) and additionally it may provide you the missing neighbors, cross feeders, not detected neighbors declared based on the analysis performed on your drive test input data. You may need to read into Agileto help how you need to format the input data for the optimisation purpose... And don't forget IT's FREE OF CHARGE
