What are Link Budget & Power Budget? what is difference between these?:confused:

they can mean the same thing, therefore a calculation of your end to end RF circuit e.g. taking in to account Tx power, combining losses, feeder loss, Tx antenna gain dBi, free space loss, other path losses, Rx antenna gain dBi, feeder losses, Rx multicoupling loss/gain, = power at Rx port

However some people refer to "Power Budget" as just the Tx side, therefore from your Tx to antenna EIRP output

do a Google search for "Link Budget" RF and "power budget" RF there is lots of information and on line tools out there
