Local cell radius

Hi guys,
I would like to know how does the parameter local cell radius affect the 3G RF space?

In our network, it is set to 19.3km for urban & 35km for rural. Does this mean that my cell coverage could extend upto this distance?

Hi

Coverage depend on Antenna /Site Hight & Antenna Tilt , this Parameter is to limit the communication to that distance if the site has overshot

We made a test. If your distance will be more than 19,3 or 35 km (depends on sites setting) you can't make a call. You can locked to UMTS cell, but can't use this cell.
